I'm so happy to share this special program with Kate Mangona, MD, who I daresay radiates enthusiasm and encouragement with every breath. Kate is a pediatric radiologist, Certified Life Coach, mother of 3 (all under five years old), married to a physician in private practice, and host of the podcast, "Medicine, marriage, and money." We discovered something unexpected in common during our chat before I pressed the record button—both of our spouses are from the Philippines!
Kate describes herself as a "former perfectionist" and seems to have life all figured out. On today's show, I asked her how she does it. Kate explained her approach to balancing family, work as a pediatric radiologist, coaching, and, not the least important, taking care of herself. Just speaking with Kate made my day!
Not to give it all away, but one of her secrets is not to try and be perfect at everything (except her medical work!). Her advice: "Think and share."
