Show Notes

Last year, when I interviewed Armin Feldman, MD, I learned about a new medical specialty called forensic consulting. In today's episode, Dr. Feldman, a former psychiatrist, gets into the nitty-gritty of what it takes to practice forensic consulting. He answers questions regarding the required training, liability risk, marketing strategy, potential earnings, and how this specialty differs from working as an expert witness. While this type of practice requires extensive medical knowledge, it is more of a nonclinical medicine role ideal for retired physicians looking to continue to utilize their medical knowledge and for actively practicing physicians looking for part-time work.

If you are interested in forensic consulting, Dr. Feldman has taught over 1,600 physicians how to get started. You can learn more about his training program here: www.mdbizcon.com.
